i have this project in my 7th grade class and i have to make a collage that relates to me. i really want to get the pics from magazines.. so what kind of magazines have alot of cute girly stuff but also random things that i'd like.. like sports such soccer, volleyball, dance... other things i like like the color green, sunshine, beaches, fun quotes, etc. i have an idea of how it would look but where can i find these magazines because i currently have none and i dont think my friends want me to be snipping through theirs. im okay with buying a couple magazines that have alot of stuff so i can find exactly what i need. thanks soo much for the help, its a big project! :)
and another thing for the project is that i have to find a song relating to me.. wow.. i mean either i sing it or i just play it. i was thinking of singing it maybe.. but first of all i have no idea how to find a song like that! i mean some kids got it easy.. like they have a song their parents sung to them since they were little and it relates alot to them, or they just heard it alot.. or they've gone through death, tough times, and stuff like that.. i havent really gone through alot of that.. but i cant find a song really relating to me! i mean im a positive person, i guess people describe me as "sunny", humorous, i love nature and just having a good time, understanding, kind, interesting, and etc. the song either has to make you feel a certain emotion relating to you or the lyrics have to relate to you. and when we present our projects we'll say why we chose it and stuff. if your kinda like me or wanna help in anyway feel free to say songs relating to you and why they relate to you and/or any advice that would help me choose a song.
THANKS! if i ace this project im getting an A in Writing! btw im a girl if you didnt notice, haha.

Anyway in terms of songs like the previous advice giver destiny's child's girl and many other songs or maybe even independent women would be good. Christina Aguilera's beautiful or fighter are good to. India Arie, I dont kno if you have heard of her shes a great artist songs like Just for Today or Video are great inspiration "girl power" type songs. You said that your understanding and love nature etc. so now that im thinking beautiful or fighter might be a little to like intense to like tell about you but just for today and video are greater natur"e" type Im loving just being me type songs which I happen to love as well! Good luck!! [ savethedramaforthestage's advice column | Ask savethedramaforthestage A Question ]
digital_hero answered Tuesday May 22 2007, 7:36 pm: haha. well some magazines i know have girly stuff but sports are included is bop or tigerbeat. they're sister magazines, so they have relatively the same stuff. they have girl stuff and stuff about celebs. including famous athletes (mia hamm, etc.) if they dont have much about sports, try sports illustrated.
hmm a song, i guess im sorta like you, so i would try..
if you really love your friends, and youre the kind of girl who talks to your friends about problems, try Girl by Destiny's Child. It's basically one of the girls is having problems with a guy and the other 2 girls are explaing that theyre best friends and they can tell each other everything. you could pick it cause your the kind who knows when your friends are down and need to talk. (okay, that sounds so deep, but its for school.)
