Ashumms answered Monday May 21 2007, 3:25 pm:
You can help relieve them with aloe vera gel (what you use to help relieve a sunburn).

To help prevent getting them, next time you shave down there, make sure the bathroom is warm. It is best to shave after a shower.

Rub a little aloe vera gel on the area you're planning on shaving, but only a little so as not to clog the razor. Then lather really good with a really creamy shaving cream (DO NOT use soap). Shave with the hair. But you'll have to shave in different directions because the hair in your pubic region grows in different directions.

I answered another question kind of like this in my column if you need more help.
