how do people get pictures like this?
the color and then black and white?

I did that on paint shop. You can color around them with layers on paint shop, or photoshop.

you can go to www.adobe.com and download photoshop fliters to play around with. or you can go to www.blibs.com and it is just as good.

Photoshop filters, applied to only certain parts of the picture.


Like, you make certain parts of the picture grayscale, and color filters to others. It's kinda hard to explain, but really cool to play around with.
