Dieting Hi, I am a 13 year old girl, about.. I don't know.. 5ft.7in.? And I already weigh 125.. all my friends say I'm not fat but yet they are all thinner than me. I Don't care what they say, I'm going to loose weight. How, do you think, is the best way for me to lose 20 in.... 1 week. That's when 2 of my friends are having pool parties and I don't want to go unless I've lose 20 pounds.. I've been trying for a long time and haven't lost but 2 pounds. I'm impatient, so work with me here! Lol.

If you're 5'7", 125 pounds is actually a healthy weight. The most you should lose is about ten pounds. Losing twenty pounds will leave you at 105 pounds which will make you underweight and may make you dizzy, lightheaded or even faint.
You should drink more water. When you drink water, you are hydrated, but you also pee it out of your system. Ice cold water will burn calories even faster. Carbonated drinks actually make your stomach swell and juices or drinks with sugar in them will make you gain fat in your belly region, even in '100% fruit juice'.
You should run or jog for about thirty minutes every day. It is best to go in the morning because your metabolism is slower then, and when you exercise it speeds it up, which will help it speed up all day, burning more calories.
Eat 'good fats', such as bananas.
Try doing squats or lunges for your legs. It will help burn fat while also building muscle to tone them.
Also, it will help you to look slimmer if you use self tanner. Use some on the outside and inside of your thighs and the outside of your stomach to make the muscles look more toned.
