13/f still playing with barbies...
Okay, so ever since I was a little girl I've loved barbies. Ya, like 5-10 I was playing with them etc. Now I'm 13/f and I know there's nothing wrong with a 10 yr old playing w/ barbies. but since i turned 11 i've wanted to play with them -- but i've been really embarassed. so how do i like... play with barbies without my family members noticing? or something? if i want new stuff how could i buy it without my family or friends knowing? i'm 13/f so yeah - no car. help!!

ok theres nothing wrong with this. i mean think about it lots of people usually have doll collections and stuff and there way older but they dont seem to be embarrassed that they collect dolls right? plus if it helps my aunt still plays with barbies lol. and she leads a great life so theres nothing wrong with it at all hope i helped:)

I was 13 when I quit. I would still play with them every now and then when I was 13. you will eventually not want to anymore. The older you get, the newer of intrests you will get. Don't worry though. As far as buying new things. Go to a yard sale... or if your at the store and you have some money, go buy some and then go to the bathroom and put it in your purse. If you want to stop playen them, just burn them. Or sale them and use the money for a new intrest.

I think it's cool that you still like to play with barbies. But thats just my option. I think I played with them until i was 13 too. I don't think you should be embarrassed because if you still want to play with them then you still do. I think you should just ask if you can play with them and if you can't then you should ask why you can't. But don't be afraid or embarrassed. It's all cool. I hope I helped you. Don't worry about what people say. I still have my stuffed animals, and I'm 16. Hell, I still drink a sippy cup. And it has Clifford on it. There's nothing wrong with what you're doing. If it makes you happy, do it.

don't be embarrasses! there no reason. if you like playing with babies then go for it! theres nothing wrong with it. just be like yeah i play with barbies is there a problem?? its what you like to do. like some people are gay. do they care what other people think of them? no i don't think so. if they don't like what you do then you don't need them. theres not a true friend to you because there not supporting you on that you want to do. and i know that your family wont care. i think its cool that your playing with babies still! i say don't worrie about it. don't care what people think about it.
and just ask you parents to buy you new things. if they wont then make your own money and buy the babies yourself! i hope i helped

Ignore what your friends and family think. Enjoy what you enjoy, and buy what you want to buy.
The problem isn't you liking barbies, its you being to silly to be proud of the fact you like barbies.
