I am 13/f and theres this guy who always flirts with me. We have classes together, and we sit together at lunch(assigned seating). He's always smiling at me, and teasing me, but in a good way. And we always joke with each other, but we don't have serious conversations alot, and if we do.. it's when we're alone. He always laughs at my jokes though, and sticks up for me when other guys are being mean to me.Some people think theres a connection, but other's think its just flirting. He's not really the boyfriend type of guy, but i'm not really one of the girlfriend type of girls, so i need to know.. should i ask him out? or is this just a flirt relationship?

I never thought of him as my type -- But I never looked at any one else is that way. We had been friends since preschool. He would always flirt with me. and do all the stuff you do. Except for sit with me at lunch. And with us, everyone would tell us we should go out. We would seriously just laugh and be like... EW!
He asked me out, and I thought about it, and I said yes. Now I am very very very happy! He didn't seem like the boyfriend type, and it was my first boyfriend, and he definitely is.
