my bf got a new job..and i am so0o happy for him because he has been through a lot. but in a way iam kind of jealous and feeling left out....friday he waas just supposed to fill out paperwork..so he went down there at about 4. i get home from my game and drive to his house..and ifind that he was still there at 9! he left when i got there and said he just wants to learn..so i let it go. sunday he worked an extra hour..then stayed anotherr hour after that talking to one of the workers. and now today he isnt in school..i bet he walked deown to his job like he said he would in the morning..and its crazy because enough is enough! i probably sound selfish..but i kind of feel left out and jealous. what should i do?? dont get me wrong..i am totally happy for my bf..it just seems like he is OBSESSED.
x0advice4y3w answered Monday May 14 2007, 5:25 pm: i feel the exact same way. my boyfriend recently got a new landscaping job. it drives me crazy because before this we used to see eachother constantly. his hours always change. typically from 7:30-7:30pm, it sucks so badly. he's not supposed to work weekends, but of course saturday he worked till 1. it just makes me so mad, but there's nothing i can do about it. i told him things are changing and he said "i'll cut my hours when you're out of school." i guess that's all i can do. whatever.
but you could talk to him. hopefully he wont get angry. tell him, "babe. this new job, i'm so happy you got it believe me it's just what about me. we haven't seen eachother much and it's just making me sad." something along those lines. and if he says oh well. i'm sorry, because i was in that situation and still am and there's not much i can do about it. also you could say "babe you've been working so much. cut your hours and let's hang!" i don't know just try it.
