k so i'm 5'5" 110 lbs (16 yrs, female). i'm pretty skinny like the top half of me but my legs are kinda fat. i've cut back on food and i'm doing 700cal workouts everyday (on the elliptical) but my legs aren't getting any thinner.. how many cals should i restrict myself to everyday and is there anything else i can do to sget my legs skinnier.. i don't really want muscle mass just for them to be thin.
peebles7 answered Sunday May 13 2007, 9:08 pm: technically you are underweight, if you really weigh 110 and are 5 5. if I were you i would stop obsessing. i don't mean to be mean, but you seem borderline anorexic. i honestly doubt ANYone thinks your legs are a single bit fat. if I were you i would slow down with the workouts, you don't need to spend quite so much time on the eliptical, maybe 500 cals, and incorporate weights. do things such as wall sits and lunges/squats, that will make you legs more toned, skinny, and strong, plus you won't have to worry about being so skinny that you aren't healthy. be careful, and try not to pay attention so much, just be happy with yourself [ peebles7's advice column | Ask peebles7 A Question ]
