I need to lighten my hair, but i dont know how....=\

Okay.
I have medium brown hair, right? And i really want to lighten it to a medium/darker blonde for the summer.
I tried the garnie fructise(sp?) lightening stuff, and it hardly lightened it all. maybe one or two levels.
I was wondering if it would make sense to lighten it with the same stuff again, and maybe it would lighten more levels, or if you know of any other treatments that work for lightening hair, that wouldn't cost me 500 dollars. :)
and i dont want to bleach it because thats not the look im going for..
it works rather well.... I have long hair I didn't use alot, but my mom had shortish hair and she actually has blonde ends.... it does grow out, though....
ASAPcamille answered Friday May 11 2007, 4:00 pm: You can use lemon juice- you just put it in a bottle and squirt it in your hair and sit in the sun. You can also use a product called Sun-In. You spray it in and can either go in the sun, or use a blowdryer. Each time you use it, it makes your hair lighter. It costs 4-5 dollars, and is so worth it :] [ ASAPcamille's advice column | Ask ASAPcamille A Question ]
