okay so my skin is like, really pale. im tan, just its like my skin isnt bright or healthy looking like every body else's skin. i mean, my make-up looks good and everything when i put it on, but if you look really close to my skin around my nose and cheeks, its kind of speckly and stuff. should i just wash my face a lot and eat healthy? what should i do?

However, eating a healthy diet rich in vitamins is extremely important to healthy skin. Also, drink a lot of water and protect it from the sun. There are also some face creams to brighten your skin and reduce the appearance of pores. Go to a drug store and look at whats available... just make sure its non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) or else you will have a whole new problem to deal with... acne. look at the expiration date, if it's old... throw it away!!
It's super important to clean your make-up kits so there's no bacteria on there. Once you apply make-up to your skin, the bactieria from the make-up goes into your skin and that's what I think is causing your skin to be this way.
I'm not saying to quit putting make-up on, but make sure that if you do put make-up on, that you wash it off at the end of the day. Use a special kind of face wash meant for your type of skin. Also you can use a daily face lotion that makes it soft and smooth.
If this really bothers you, try going to a dermatologist and ask them what you can do about it.
