phone conversation with him
i have silences while on the phone with *him*. what are some random things to talk about. anything really. i want the conversation to spark up another conversation. please give me multitple ideas. thanks!<3

If you're both really into old movies or share a favorite movie, say a quote from it and see if he picks up on it. Or you can just say random things. Last summer I started dating this guy and the first few phone conversations had a few lulls. So one time I'm trying to think of something witty to say and he said something first. He said that he would really hate to fall out the window of his car. I know, completely weird and random, right? That's what I thought anyway. But when I asked him what he was talking about, he started talking about how nascar drivers have to get in and out of the cars through the window and how he would hate to fall out the window. Just say anything that goes through your mind. At least it will give you something to laugh about with him.

i'm really bad at talking, but something a friend told me is speak your mind. which simply mean say what you're thinking. if you're thinking about food, talk about how good it would be to be eating right now. sometimes it is really stupid, i know, but really, it does work and usually you'll get a laugh or two and something about how random that is. it helped me (somewhat) hope it works for you.
