computer screen size

Question Posted Wednesday May 9 2007, 8:20 am

Some websites would say looks best on 1224 x 3000 or something similar.

How do I know what size is mine?

And what is the measurement for those numbers, inches, cm?

The measurement is pixels, which are tiny dots that make up everything you see on a monitor. If you zoom in on an image, you'll be able to see the pixels. If you have a PC, you can change the size of your resolution by right-clicking on the desktop, going to properties, and then settings. On a Mac, I have no idea. =/ But under Settings, there should be a slider that says "Screen resolution" on it. Drag that, and it will change the size of everything that comes up on your screen. :D

Right-click on your desktop, and go to Properties. Under the "Settings" tab, there's a screen resolution area. you can slide the slider thing to make the resolution higher or lower. Most computers are either 1024x768 or 1280x768, by default. It depends on the monitor though.
