Ok im 16. Had my period since August of 04 and it has always been regular and on time, give or take a few days. Its been late on 1 occasion last year due to stressing about something but thats not the case this time. I have not been stressing at all about anything recently, my diet hasnt changed, ive not been sexually active.
Well now it is late, it was due around April 27th.
This may sound insane, but please dont judge..
Im starting to worry because im making myself think im going through early menopause or something because i keep gettings like hot flushes and stuff and i dont know.. i guess i could just be being stupid.. but it is not uncommon for this to happen.
But what are the chances of that happening? like.. the odds of it or something.. idk..

I would just ask to go see a gynecologist. You can make the appointment now and if you get your period before your appointment comes (it might take a few weeks) you can always cancel. But it would make you feel better to know that you're getting it checked out.

If you dont get it by next month you should call your doctor and ask if you should come in for a check up of some sort. At this point I wouldnt worry. SOmetimes even if your period is normally regular as a teenager it can become slightly off, sometimes you dont think your stressed but your body knows differently. If it goes more than a month again you might want to call your doctor just in case because I am not a doctor so I dont know your medical history nor can i analyze it.
Good Luck! [ savethedramaforthestage's advice column | Ask savethedramaforthestage A Question ]
