I used to be absolutely terrified of spiders, too. Like I would find one in my hair and I like threw it on the ground and freaking ran for my life, screaming.
Anyway, I'm not too scared of them anymore. I took some time to think about it. Spiders aren't really that scary. I compared them to lady bugs, lol. They just look different. Spiders won't do anything to you, they can't. They're harmless little tiny bugs, and its not like they'll blow up the entire house.
I would say that whenever you get freaked about spiders in your room just think about how harmless and small they are. Your mind tries to play little tricks on you, making you think that spiders would crawl up your nose and in your hair. Just calm down, spiders won't do anything whatsoever to you.
I hope I helped you. ]
you have arachnophobia(fear of spiders), look it up on google ]
What I did to get over my fear for at least a little bit is I found a spider like on the wall or outside my window or something and I just forced myself to get my face near it (not touching it, just near it). By looking at it it helped me understand spiders alot better ]
You need to face your fears. You can't be scared of spiders forever. They're all around us, and as much as it kills me to say it -- we need them. =( In average, a human swallows 8 in a year while sleeping. No, you cannot change this, and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
Just make sure that there's nothing in your room before you go to bed, and check so there's nothing in your clothes. Besides, I'm pretty sure they don't wanna be in your room. Rooms tend to be warm [obviously], and they like cold/damp places. ]
You will have to
1-Think about your past and what happened to lead to this phobia of spiders.Did you have any bad experience that could have led to this fear of spiders?
2-Confront you phobia gradually. You will have to start by looking at/touching a drawing of a spider. Then move on to keeping a dead spider twelve inches away from you. Then graduate to holding it(Ofcourse you will have to wash your hand afterwards). Then maybe actually hold a spider.
