boarding school

Question Posted Sunday May 6 2007, 3:39 pm

I absolutely hate my school and my town, and I want more than anything to go to boarding school. But my parents are like, "We'll miss you too much." I think that's the only reason I can't go. Money's not a problem, and all the ones I want to go to are excellent schools. How can I convince them?

Since money is not a problem, I recommend Interlochen Arts Academy, it is the best boarding school in the nation. How you convince your parents, I unfortunatley have no idea.

Call a "meeting" with them and tell them all the reasons that you want to go and let them know how serious you are about it. Have you considered going to a private school but still living at home?

Just tell them you will call them everyday, write them letters, let them visit you, go visit them (via bus or taxi). Let them know that you will be able to put more of an effort because it is a better school.
