Bleaching hair

Question Posted Saturday May 5 2007, 2:37 pm

I was wondering if you could bleach hair (head hair) with the bleaching cream that's meant to be used on the body (upper lip, arm, whatever)...

I will just bleach reallly thin streaks of hair (head hair XD) 'cause I have plans for a new hair style thing + new color. And I want to do it myself.

Any advice on this one?

Note:Where I live ... no one knows how to do highlights and all.. I'm out of options!

Go to Sally's or whatever Beauty Stores you have there, and get hair bleach, its a powder and you have to buy developer to mix it with, and you just mix it going by the directions of course, and make sure you wear clothes you dont mind if they get messed up, and you just do the highlights, leave it in until its the color you want, make sure you wrap your highlights in foil after you put the bleach on.

Once your done rinse it out very well. Your hair may be kind've dry for a few days. Just make sure to condionate VERY well every night.

Dont use the bleaching cream. You can dip a comb in bleach, and comb it where you want- That is what I did. It worked fine.

edit- Oh, haha sorry. I have done it several times. For streaks, it did not really make a difference what I used, but I liked the bleach for hair better. It worked more effectivly.
