I can't remember anything!!!!

Question Posted Thursday May 3 2007, 10:53 pm

everytime i try to remember an important date, I end up forgetting, like my orchestra lessons, I miss them and now my score has gone down to a B and i'm scared Ms. H might pull me out of the class. How do you remember things?

Well I have the same problem.
It's really helpful to keep an agenda and write all these dates down.
You might have short term memory loss, but it is completely normal

Since my phone is ALWAYS on me, I put everything on my calendar on there. & if there's something I really need to be reminded (such as remembering to take my medicine at a certain hour every night), I set a reminder with an alarm & I never fail to miss it.

If you don't think you'll remember to look at it if you write it down (I know that I usually don't),write it on your hand or use post it notes and put them somewhere that you'd never be able to miss.

Write it down. Buy a calendar book/planner/organizer/whatever you wanna call it. Every day go over events, major projects/tests, etc and WRITE IT DOWN. It actually takes a very short amount of time and it's worth it. Get into the habit of checking your planner every day.

If your cell phone has a calendar or alarm system, that works too.
