im a girl. and for quite a while my voice has been cracky/croaky does this mean im hitting puberty and if so how long will it last till i get my peirod?

Honey, There is no tellin. It took me about 1 year. But sometimes it takes people a lot more.
For instance, I hit puberty at 8-9 years old and got my period when i was 9 going on 10.
So my guess would be about a year or 2 maybe even less.

Your voice has ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING to do with puberty, if you're a girl. For hitting puberty, the average age is anywhere from 9-16. For some reason, when girls turn 13, they think they should start their period. Me- hair in 5th grade, period in 9th grade. Just wait. There aren't really any signs for your first time. You probably won't even have cramps. Just a little bit of darkish blood. Just a LITTLE bit.
