aim for linux

can someone please give me a step by step process on how to redownload aim for linux?

i have gaim now, but its not working.
and my computer genius brother wont fix it.

and i dont know what the hell im doing.

-i deleted the "internet drivers" off my computer... yea. i have no idea what im doing.-

This is absolutely not the place to ask this. At most 10 people here have ever used linux, and I doubt anyone is qualified to answer you question. Take a look here and read the help file:
