i want an emo styl cut but my hair i soooo frizzy it wont straighten i have it shoulder lenght at the moment bt i wz just wondering if u cud give me any tips???
If you're a girl, then I'm not quite sure what an "emo style" cut is. But either way, there are a couple remedies for frizziness.
1.) Any anti-frizz cream out there.
2.) Anti-frizz shampoo. Try sunsilk.
3.) If you have a lot of frizziness at your roots, you can run a dryer sheet over it in the morning...that works for me.
I don't have overly fizzy hair, but here's what I do:
After I get out of the shower, I apply mousse to my damp hair. Then, I flip my head over and dry my hair a little to make it quicker. Then I pull it into 3 sections and blow-dry it straight with a round brush (a regular brush will work too). Then, after my hair is completely dry I straighten my hair in four sections. Here's the process:
-Pull your hair into the first thin section.
-Brush it.
-Put some anti-frizz cream on the section.
-Lightly spray the section with hairspray.
-Lightly brush it to get any stiffness out.
-Straighten that section...and take your time.
-Brush that section again when it's straight.
-Pull out the next section and do it all again. Pay special attention to the last section.
-When you're done, apply more anti-frizz cream, paying attention to the roots.
-Lightly spray your hair, especially the roots, with hair spray and flatten it out a little with your palms to get the fly-aways to go down.
Oh, and make sure you have a good straightener. Get one from Sally's or a beauty salon. And make sure it's ceramic...the others just increase frizziness.
