my friend is being upset for no reason

okay Let me ask you all who are over 18. have you have anybody who maybe older then you or maybe same age say hey Kid.. you know like a nick name you know hey sport or hey bud.. well my friend take so serouly she dont understand. she think calling her kid. i not i just say hey kid. everybody do that to me. i am 21 years old. my brother and my uncle couple of friends say hey kid.. not perfer being one or anything.. anybody understand?

She's just sensitive about it. Give her a nickname she won't take seriously. Or ask her what she'd like to be called as a nickname, and then call her by that. If she doesn't have something she'd prefer to be called, then call her by her name.
