cute looks/hair/problems/looong

Question Posted Thursday April 26 2007, 8:54 pm

okay, so im 15, ill be 16 june 6. and im not that girly, i mean, i wear skirts and such, but im not girly, and i would really like to be. ill be driving soon. and i want to always look cute in my car. so i have a couple things i need help on.
shirts-i sweat, a lot. i tryed that stuff you put on your armpits, but it doesnt work that well. your only suppose to put it on a couple days then after that, youll be good for about a week, well i have to put it on everyday, and i still sweat. so is there any shirts, or anyway i can look cute, without worrying about sweat marks. since summer is coming, i dont have to wear shirt shirts, you know?.. but i also have pretty big boobs, and im not comfortable exposing them. i wear 36C.

Pants-i dont like wearing tight pants, i feel fat in them(even tho im pretty skinny) it makes me feel fat, so i dont wear them. i like cute, but loose jeans. i mostly weat hollister jeans, bc most of them are like that.

shoes-i mostly wear flip flops. i guess if wearing high heels would improve my look, i will do it. but im trying to kinda avoid that. haha

and last hair- i have pretty long hair, middle of my back. i have the bangs off to the side look, but i guess im just getting sick of how MINE look. i see really cute bang hairdos, but i dont know if i want bangs again. so if anyone can find cute hair looks also it would be greatly thanked.

im sorry this is long, but down to the question. can anyone help me look more girly with the things i like to wear, and with my sweating problem. and again its pretty bad. i can be sitting in class doing NOTHING, and there will be a big sweat mark. please help me look more girly! =] im open to ANY ideas. and make up ideas too!.. please help!!

Addresing problem one: sweating. Try the crystalized salt ball and use antiperspirant only. A good corn starched based powder is good. Carry a trial size spray on antiperspirant in your purse.

Also there are pads to place under the armpits of t-shirts etc. but tanks are opened and then you need to rely on the corn starched powder and antiperspirant. See a doctor about that as there is medicines you can take to control this. Some people have overactive sweat glands. Wear tank tops without sleeves and lower cut under arm areas.

Your jeans and skirts are girly enough and fine. There are some really cute shorts out now that look kinda like skirts in a way. But great varieties.

High-heels are a pain in the foot. You can get various flip-flops in any color for any outfit and any design nowadays. Have fun with them and don't forget the nail (toe) polish to match your clothes or compliment your feet. Take care of your heels and skin on our feet to keep pretty. A cute toe ring sets off feet in flip-flops and consider sandals even!

Girl, ya gotta get the bangs if you keep the long hair. One length for it all doesn't do it.

Go to a hair salon, look at all the magazines for the bang look regardless of hair length and style. I personally would have the stylist razor cut whispy bangs "barely" without getting too far into your hair. Just enough layered wildly, whisply, to break up the heavy long length, and if daring enough and hair thick--- razor cut it in layers without taking any length off-- but that would add style and volume and a whispy, feminine updated look without that heavy one-length flattened look. You want a wind blown natural look with your length.

Don't forget some make-up. Depending on eye color, a mauve is great for most eye colors for a natural look, mascara, (lightly) depending on skin tone, a natural mauve lip gloss and cheek brush on to match....and you're ready to go. Don't forget a summertime type perfume or body spray-- light, airy and flirty fragrance works. Nothing heavy.

hmm I dont know what to tell you about the sweating thing. People have said try cutting grease out of your diet but I dont know if that works or not. you can try though

and I also have larger bust/small frame. I'm a 34C (which is hell trying to find a bra at a decent price at the right size. cause all the less expensive ones are either 34B or 36C. but no 34C! GAH but thats another story.) anyway. I was saying. Kohls carries some real cute summer tops that aren't really revealing. And they have sales every week. so they're reasonably priced

Pants... idk. long shorts? they're pretty cool if you can pull'em off.

Shoes. stick with flip flops. they're comfy and they're cute.

and Hair. I am the hair master (not to brag) but I've had hair down to my belt, and thick as hell. but, I also went into a rut with that. It got too long to put in buns, so my selection of hair styles dropped pretty bad. so I cut it. I donated close to eighteen inches of hair. Its kind of drastic, but its a REALLY nice change. and there's a lot more you can do with short hair. not like boy cut short. but like to your chin. just long enough to put into a ponytail. I loved it. especially not having all that hair on my back during the summer. but whatever. I'm rambling. find something new and exciting to do with it and just go for it. whether that be cutting it, dying it, highlights/lowlights, ... mullet. whatever. lol jk about the last one
