For Dance class I have to wear black leggings or black cutoff stockings, and black shorts. I'm overweight, and have never worn the leggings, so I'd like to know, do they make people with bigger legs look bigger? Should I get the leggings or stockings, which is more flattering? Thanks!

What I would do, though, is get pretty opaque ones, not sheer ones, and matte ones without sheen. Those would be more slimming. I think a dance costume shop should have some choices for you.

But what i would do is go to like Macys or something and try both on and see which works better for you. [ DonutHolez567's advice column | Ask DonutHolez567 A Question ]

Leggings are really tight so they form more then stockings would. So they might be the way to go. I would try both see what you like better im sure you will look fine in both
