can i get pregnant jus a week before my periods

Yes you can.

You ovulate at different times and the period is strickly to wash out the unfertilized egg and excess hormones that built up on the lining of your uterus so a fertilized egg could attach itself.

You can even be pregnant and go through with that scheduled period as the body does not always act as one expects. It might just be "spotting" but considered a period.

Only a doctor can tell you for sure if you are pregnant by a urinealysis test which tests for hormonal levels which are higher with pregnancy, and a pelvic exam as well.
