how many songs and pics can you hold on a 2gb iPod nano ?


and what about a 4gb ?

2gb- 500 songs
4gb- 1,000 songs

About 512 songs(1024 for 4gb). Longer songs take up more space, so that's not an exact number.

The size of pictures vary so much, it's impossible to guess.

Not sure about the 2 gb Ipod, but I have the 4 gb nano. Right now I have 745 songs on it and it's full. I also dont have any pics on it at the moment. You could probably sacrifice 20 songs for maybe 100 pics, but the picture thing is somewhat dumb to me. I'm actually regretting getting the 4 Gb nano now cuz it's a lot smaller than I thought. If you have the extra 50 bucks, go for the video one which has 30 gigs, even if you dont put videos on it, that's a ton more songs you can fit on it. Plus you get a bigger screen for your pics.
