every year my family goes on vacation somewhere. summer's coming up soon, but we still have no clue where to go.
what we're looking for-
not too hot, not too cold lol
beautiful scenery
fun things to do
not a really long flight and not having to get a passport.
i wanna either go to the carribean or florida, but they dont want to :\ where should we gooo!
jenny13 answered Monday April 23 2007, 8:21 pm: You could go to Ocean City New Jersey {one of my favorite places}. Also Ocean City Maryland is nice too. But something fun and different would be going to Pennsylvania to the mountains and go camping. It's very beautiful up there and it's just the right temperature in the summer. Hope i've helped!!!

LM answered Monday April 23 2007, 7:40 pm: I was just going to suggest Niagara Falls, Canada, but you need a passport for that. YOu should consider going there next year, though. It's great- it's a tourist attraction so it's mostly Americans, and the Canadians who DO live there are incredibly nice. The laws are different (you can sit at a bar no matter how young you are) and there's tons of museums - the Wax Museum and Ripley's Believe it or Not are two standouts.
As for within the United States, suggest Chicago (great shopping and scenery; but I don't know where you live so I dunno if that's a long flight) or Cleveland, Ohio (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cedar Point, and a ballpark whose name just slipped my mind. I think the Cleveland area would be more family-pleasing- music, baseball, AND an amusement park.
