Finding an email address
An old friend gave me his email address ages ago and I've lost it, I think I can remember the beginning of it but can't remember the rest.
I don't want to guess and end up emailing private stuff to a complete stranger. Is there a website or something where I can do a search?
He's with hotmail but hotmails user search isn't at all good.

here are some websites where you may be able to find his email address... myspace and facebook! do a user search on both and see if he has an email address listed. you can also google his first and last name to see if he's posted his email address anywhere. if you remember part of his email address, try searching for that on google too. since you know he has hotmail, that will be easier to google. you could also do a search on aol instant messenger (if he has aim), but those are not always great.

Well if it's a myspace email than you can go to a search box and find their profile and see their picture. If it's anything else I don't think you can but I'm not positive.

There is a Hotmail email search. You would need their first & last name.

If you do not have any of the information listed on that website, it would probably be close to impossible to find his email. Emails are private for people, so its not like they're easily posted everywhere. You could email the address that you think it may be & say "Hey is this so & so" to check who it is though.
