Does anyone here have social anxiety disorder? How old are you? How is it treated? Do you take medication, have talk therapy, or both? What medication do you take? How does it work?
thanks

In my opinion, and my doctors, he said everyone has some kind of form of it. Some peoples are far worse, so they need some treatment. I take Zoloft and it has helped me a lot. I don't even see a therapist. I get the medicine from my regular doctor. It works the exact same way. When you have a disorder like this, it is usually caused by a imabalance in the brain. The medicine helps treat the imabalace, and makes you able to feel more comforatable better. I mean, I use to have it so bad, I would throw-up before a simple demonstration in class. Now with the medicine I am taking, it has gotten a lot better. Hope I helped.
