I THINK MY DAD IS GAY!(sry wrong category)
ok this is not a joke.
i went on my dads computer to do research for a paper we have to write for my science class, and when i went to history he had all this stuff like " hotel sex, gaymen's club" and gross stuff like that and his yahoo email was logged in so i went to it and he had all these messages like "where do you live do you want me to f*ck you or you to f*ck me" and he answered w/ "i live ______ do u have lube and a condom?" (the ____ is where we live" and i like am really scared that he is gay!
and i take after him and i think i might be a lesbian! i really doNOT want 2 be one but i think i am kinda aliitle bit.
so what im asking is how do i no if hes gay or not and how do i make sure i dont become a lsbian?

Well are you sure it's not your moms stuff?And your probably not a lesbian and your just confused because you dont know how to act with the situation with your dad. And is your dad still married to your mom or has a girlfriend? And if he does then he's probably not GAY!

Hey i really dont think you should make such a big deal out of it.I know it might be hard to accept such a weird thing from your dad but you cant just jump to conclusions like that:
1-you dont really have solid proof that hes a gay.He might just be joking around..i alwayz do those kind of stuffs online=/
and 2-the fact that your dad would eventually be a gay doesnt make you a lesbian.these kinds of things arent hereditary.trust me.
well i really dont suggest you to go and talk to him about it.He could take bad the fact that you went into his personal stuff.So my only advice to you is to calm down and focus on what you do and really dont let the idea of you being a lesbian get into your mind...that might get you to it.just relax and cntinue live your life.

ok, my dad is gay and it's really not as bad as you might think, although i absolutely agree with you, this is a really strange, awkward, scary situation. if I were you i wouldn't do anything for the time being, just wait it out because it is likely that your mom (if ur parents are still married) is going to find out. after a little while I would suggest talking to your dad, if you talk to your mom, it's kind of like ratting your dad out, and at this point he's going to have a lot of trouble dealing with this situation and coming out of the closet, so try to be supportive. you don't have to be happy about it, just don't try to make him not part of your life anymore. I really don't think you need to worry about being a lesbian because your father is gay. homosexuality is genetic (most likely, although scientists are studying this at the moment), but that doesn't mean that it is hereditary. what i'm trying to say is that you shouldn't try to connect your sexuality to your fathers.
If I were you, i would try not to make yourself straight, as you get older your sexual orientation will become more clear to you, right now you are obviously confused. just keep going out with guys or whatever, and if you have feelings toward a girl just accept them and think about whether they are stronger than the ones you have for guys. just make sure you don't freak out right now, because if you ARE a lesbian, you will be much happier as an adult being in relationships with women than with men, even if it's much harder in our society.

if i were you i would just treat your dad how you are now.. until he mentions something about it....respect his privacy for now and just consider that he may not feel comfortable coming out right now... the part about you being a lesbian im sure everyone goes through a phase with that.. give it time it might wear off.. just give it time and see how you feel later on

eh. if i were you i would be freaking out too. alright. well you could talk to your mom about it or maybe like.. an aunt or something. i would say you should talk to your mom first.
and let your mom confront him.
and if for any reason you cant tell your mom or who ever. then MAYBE confront him. it would be extremely awkqward. like extremely.
alright. or go onto google and type in something like my dads gay or my parents are gay or something like that and youll find something. or like what to do if someone you know if gay. stuff like that. hope i helped.. =]
