um what happens if you eat the red shell the cheese is in, in those littly baby bel cheeses? i havent done it before.. but the shell if kinda soft so im wondering if you can eat it.. and what it tastes like. or is it like.. some soft plastic??
DangerNerd answered Thursday April 19 2007, 5:19 pm: What do babybel cheese wheel wrappers/covers taste like?
Vaguely like cheese. When I was a little guy (about 4 years old) NO cheese was safe near me. ;-)
As for "can you eat the red wax stuff on babybel cheeses?" Absolutely. It is red going in, and red coming out, so don't freak out if you see something blood red in the toilet one day. :-) [ DangerNerd's advice column | Ask DangerNerd A Question ]
sizzlinmandolin answered Thursday April 19 2007, 5:12 pm: It's wax. You can chew on it like gum, I do sometimes (separate from the cheese of course), but actually eating it is pointless. I doubt it would hurt you, but it's not going to taste any good, it won't give you any nutrition, and your body may have a hard time digesting it, if it digests it at all, making it very unpleasant on the way out. orphans answered Thursday April 19 2007, 5:09 pm: hey
i suggest you don't eat it. yes, it is soft, but it IS plastic.
so if you do eat it, you might get kind of sick (nausea) and throw-up cause most people cannot fully digest that much plastic.
it smells like the cheese, and it's soft like cheese, so it makes you wanna eat it, but i strongly suggest you don't. it ends up tasting like plastic. and it gets hard to chew after a while. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
