When I went to my first day in high school, I saw a couple making out in the parking lot and I was like WHOAOMGWTF. Our current society tends to make it seem that if you don't have a lover, then you're a total loser (which is not true) Even celebrities are pressured to have a boyfriend or girlfriend and eventually marry them. We hear about celebrity relationships all the freaking time. It took my 5th grade teacher (who I still talk to up to this day) about 15 years of dating until he finally found his true love and got married.
So my theory is that you feel kind of "worthless" without a boyfriend. My advice is to keep being comfortable about who you are, and just be patient. One of these days you'll find a person that you will truely admire. [ RaDeuX's advice column | Ask RaDeuX A Question ]

But find something that you are happy with or that makes you happing do it and do that when you do feel really down. & also since your friends do see this talk to them about it, see what they think you've changed. You may not think that your friends would really understand or what not, but you'd be surprised :) [ Brezzer12's advice column | Ask Brezzer12 A Question ]
