If your high school has 5000 people, there is a greater number of athletes to choose from so it'll be really competitive. I'd say no more than 6 minutes. If your highschool only has 1000-2000 people, I'd say 6 30 should be fine.
As for two miles, if it's a large high school, I'd say no more tahn 13 minutes. If it's a medium sized, i'd say no more tahn 14.

BAMAWAMA answered Saturday April 14 2007, 2:21 pm: ifyou school is anything like mine than it doesnt matter whenyou join track youll do things to get better..youlldo drillsand things like that and youll competeinyour own weight class. a 7 or 8 mile would be nice but in my team theres one kid who is around 250 pounds.
