what birth control does... like what's up with this whole

birth controll is something either a pill or a patch that you take to keep from getting pregnant if you are sexually active. many girls over the age of 18 use birth controll to regulate their periods. birth control doesnt make you skip periods but it does make it so every period is 28 days apart every time. it makes it soooo much easier!

If you're sexually active...it keeps your from getting pregnant. If you're not, or even if you are, it regulates your periods so you get them exactly 1 month apart instead of skipping around. It also makes your cramps less horrible.
