fastpitch equiptment

Question Posted Thursday April 12 2007, 6:36 pm

I found this thing on fastpitchsoftball.com. It says it's a "Power Pad." It is made by Easton. I wanna know if it is a training thing or is it a thing you use in a game? What exactly is it used for? I have read it, but I still want to know more about it and I have never heard of them. But are they legal to use in a game?

it's perfectly fine for use in games. All it does is take away some of the sting in the bat, and add extra padding the outer part of your hand. Its basically the equivalent of a Player in the MLB using tape on the end of their bat.

Hmm, I don't think that it's illegal, just tell people it's for the sting you get when you hit the ball. I mean, it's pretty much to help you keep control of the bat; so I think it's harmless, and if they tell you to take it off, then it won't be a big deal.
