well im 16 and i'm one of those guys who doesn't go out with girls just because of the way they look, and one of the things that i look for is personality.
But the one thing you might want to do is don't associate yourself with just the stuck-up preps or goths, or whatever group you hang out with, be one of those people who hangs out with everyone, and you'll easily find the guys who don't just ask girls out because of the way they look.
There are plenty of guys out there who just look for personality, you just need to get to know some of the guys before you go out with them, and i assure you that you'll have much better relationships, and just remember to be patient.
good luck

im 15 f and i play fast pitch. fast pitch isn't until fall but i really really need some good pointers on how to get my arm back into shape. Now is the time i need to start getting it back.I am the fast pitch pitcher soo i'm not getting my arm back in shape just for throwing.
does anyone have any warm ups i can use?
What are some good things that will improve my aim?
Any exercizes that I can do without a ball?
ANY advice is very appreciated. I do rate. (link)

ok basically for warm-ups just lightly throw the ball like you would pitch, but not full speed, also to get your arm in to shape just go out and start maybe throwing 10 full-speed pitches one day, then build up throwing more and more pitches as the days go by and by the time you need to pitch again your arm should be back to full strength. For aim i no this may sound funny, but if you happen to have a cat and you have a litter box, and it comes in a plastic container, use it, or if not find a medium size plastic container of some sorts and try to hit it each time you pitch, this helps to save you money. and without the ball, you can always stand next to a wall or fence and practice your mechanics in order to make sure you keep a mechanically sound windup.

Yeah is there anything I can do to become a better high school safety? Any drills and tips would be fine. Also what is the average size for a high school safety? (link)
|
basically i don't have any websites that i know of where there are really good safety drills, but the drills you need to be doing are footwork drills(for ex. the ladder), and some basic zone coverage drills such as learning where to go and what to do in lets say a Cover 2 or 3, and you also need to learn to read a quarterback, because often in high school football a quarterback will telegraph his passes and if you can read him well enough you can jump the route and get an int.
For the average size of a safety, is about 5'8" to about 6'1", it all depends there are many different needs forr safety, like John Lynch who is 6'2", 240, you will probably need to be somewhere in between 150-200 lbs depending on your height.

I found this thing on fastpitchsoftball.com. It says it's a "Power Pad." It is made by Easton. I wanna know if it is a training thing or is it a thing you use in a game? What exactly is it used for? I have read it, but I still want to know more about it and I have never heard of them. But are they legal to use in a game?
Here's the link:

it's perfectly fine for use in games. All it does is take away some of the sting in the bat, and add extra padding the outer part of your hand. Its basically the equivalent of a Player in the MLB using tape on the end of their bat.

the guy that i REALLY like just asked out the girl he liked. he had asked her out before but she said no. so we had been flirting for about a month after this happened and we are in a lot of the same classes and we talk all the time. i thought things were looking good for me, when today he texted me and said he wasnt single any more. he had asked the girl out again and she had said yes.
so did i misread his actions? was he really interested in me or not? what happened? thanks in advance (link)

You may not have misread his actions as much as you think. as a guy i know from experience that if you asked a girl you really liked out and she said no, but then you meet someone like yourself, you can't help but talk to her and see if something comes out of it. But i'm gonna guess and say that he thought he still had a chance to get the girl he asked out before to say yes. And unfortunately she said yes. But don't worry their is probably some guy out there dying to talk to you and get to know you better and go out with you, so don't worry about it you will have many more instances like this and they will turn out better.
