best magazines

Question Posted Wednesday April 11 2007, 3:31 am

i was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for magazines. i already love to read cosmo girl and seventeen, although sometimes, cosmo girl is not on the racks and it's dissapointing. i also read teen, but do you know of any magazines that are for teens, 13-17? i like magazines like seventeen, and hope to find more!

im 15 and i love Teen Vogue. it's very rare that you would see it on the racks but i love it because i like all that high european fashion sort of thing. elle girl is good but im not sure if they're still publishing it but Elle is good too, a little more towards the 15+ age group though. thats all i really know of. teen vogue is really good though.

well it depends on whether you want more fashion reading or celebrity gossip type stuff but I read;

GL (girls life but it is for teens)
seventeen
teen vogue
teen people
sixth 7 eight (you cant find that easily, its new)
BOP
tiger beat
J-14
YM
Elle Girl

Yeah thats all I can think of, they are all pretty good. Teen people, BOP, Tiger beat, and J-14 are mostly celebrity gossip type magazines.

If you want music magazines -- Spin and Alternative Press are the best two. I read them both, and I'm subscribed to Spin. I'm trying to work my parents into subscribing me to AP because it'd be cheaper than buying me the magazine once or twice a month [they come out w. more than copy a month sometimes].

As for other magazines, I read Teen Vogue.

Hey.
Well, i read Mizz and Shout and i am 14. but if you want something more girly or something for young adults then you should read something like...
Red
Glamour
Stlye
Look
There are loads more to choose from so look at all of the magazinges where you buy them and have a quick look through them and see which one takes your fancy!
Good Luck!!
For any more advice.. don't hesitate to ask me.
