I have two really red pimples, and they won't goa way. (Had them for about 2 days now) But I really just want the redness to go away. Will toothpaste help this? And what are the side effects from using toothpaste on your face? Also, when should I apply the toothpaste, and leave it on how long before I take it off?
xLiisten2urheart answered Tuesday April 10 2007, 7:04 pm: Toothpaste is amazing. You'd leave it on all night and when you wake up just wash your face with gentle soap. Another thing you can do is ice it. But it might make it a little more red. lol What always works for me is..
crushed up asprin [between 2-5 pills. depends on how big the zit is] with a little bit of COLD water...[so it's like a paste]
optional: slice of a banana.
and MINT toothpaste
just rub it on the zits at night and wake up and take a cool wash cloth and wipe it off.
that should work..
but if not
try getting a Neutrogena (can't spell) ance treatment put it ONLY ON THE PIMPLE not around it ON IT [trust me lol well i guess it's just my skin but sometimes it'll burn my face]
or witch hazel works well too just to zap it off. it might take like 2 days but it'll go away.
