Last night I gave my boyfriend head,
and today I have a really bad sore throat.
I swallowed, and it was my first time as
well as his. Is my sore throat a result of that?

I had this same exact thing happen to me.
But it turned out that I had strep throat.

It could be totally unrelated to that and just a cold or sore throat. However, having said that your throat could be sore because of it. Did you take his entire penis into your mouth? If so it's no wonder your throat is sore and or you had lock jaw or a sore jaw as well.
You're only supposed to take a bit of the penis and not the whole thing for those very reasons. I cannot say more than that as people get booted for anything resembling how-to aorund here for good reason. so yes, it could be caused by doing that.
