moving, friends, parents..
i'm going to apologize now, this is long. okay well first off, my parents are divorced. second, i do not talk to my dad whatsoever. i have many reasons but above all that, i can't stand him. except he lives down the street from me. i have been living full time at my mom's house for 2 years now. and all of a sudden, she wannts to move like 6 states down south to south carolina.i told her i don't want to move because 1)my boyfriend. i'd miss him so much. 2)i hate the beach and warm weather 3) i just bought a brand new 600$ snowboard.. theres no snow there... and i have 4 new snowmobiles 4) and of COURSE all of my friends. i love my friends. they are great, and always keep me laughing. yes, i make friends easily but i don't want new ones. i love mine. i'm 13/f by the way. and my mom said that she REALLY wants to move to south carolina. so that means theres a really good chance we are moving. my mom said i have two choices if we move: i can live with my dad (hell no), or two, make new friends and move. i don't know what to doo!!!!! yes i want to move but not fricken to south carolina!!!!!!!!! i want to move to the next town over. what should i do about this situation ?

well, there's lots of things you can do!
- say all. calmly explain to your mom how you feel about this situation. i mean tell her about all the reasons why you don't want to move that you listed above [boyfriend, snowboard, friends]. dont bother telling her that you hate warm weather & such cause that won't change her mind. i mean like she probably doesn't care about something so controversial. don't act 13 when you say it. act 30. you have to be calm & CLEARLY explain to her those things.
- try to look at her point of view. why does she want to move so badly? is it because of her job? is it because of your dad? or does she just want to start fresh? let her tell you why she wants to move so badly. maybe it will change your mind a little bit. just sit down & ask her. "mom, why do you want to move to south carolina so badly?" she'll tell you. & if she doesn't give reasons that convince you, tell her. it's not just about her. if you dont want to move, you have a say in it as well.
- deal. if neither of you are on the same page yet, & you DO end up moving, just look at the good & not the bad. you can sell your snowboard & snowmobiles for lots of money. warm weather is great too! i can't stand the cold weather... think about it. you can go outside & chill with your friends drinking iced teaa. about your boyfriend, you can still be with him. you can still visit him. although it won't be the same as seeing him everyday or so, you can still talk to him online, call him, visit him. about your friends, of course you're still going to stay in touch with them! trust me, no matter how far you go, if they're really your friends they WON'T just forget about you. you'll make new friends while still keeping your old ones. you even said so yourself, you make friends easily. you actually have it lucky. most girls dont want to move because the NUMBER one thing they are afraid of are, what? you guessed it! FRIENDS. so really, you have nothing to worry about.
you COULD always live with your dad & fix things, but if you really dislike him that much, the only other choice you have is to move. but think about the benefits of living with your dad. you can still see your boyfriend & keep your old friends. :] & wont have to worry about warm weather, haha.
just remember, if you want your mom to listen to you, you have to listen to her. act like an adult. dont scream. dont yell. act 20 years older than you are. get into her head. i really hope all goes well for you & you and your mom come to some sort of agreement. ♥

well you are only 13 and you may you love your boyfriend now but there will be boys in South carolina and if you cant stand you dad and dont want to live with him you have one option to move that is that sucks yeah but you will make new friends and you are only 13 and in life even if you dont move you dont keep the same friends, but just htink about moving like a brand new start and come on the beach is awsome tons of hottie guys with hottie boddies all works out! and you can always come back for vactions.
