I think I should put this here... I need sleep!

Question Posted Wednesday April 4 2007, 10:44 am

I am always tired! I dont get to call my boyfriend until after 9:00pm and thats when I get tired. when he able to talk we talk till about 10:30pm then I say im tired and I need to get off. This doesn't happen every night. Sometimes he doesn't answer his phone. Also When I got o bed that late I dont want to get up in the morning for school. I am just too tired! It gets pretty hot in my bedroom so I sleep without covers sometimes. Whenever I am tired I try to fall asleep but I cant for some reason! I just lay there waiting and trying to fall asleep. I use the bathroom before I got o bed so I dont have to get up in the middle of the night. I want and need more slepp but I dont know how to get it with all of this!! Any tips??

hey

if i dont answer your question totally, please dont rate. i just thought you could use what i'm about to say so i can help you.

this happens to me sometimes. you gotta start going to bed a little earlier each night. like if one night you go to bed at 10 30 then the next night go to bed at 10 15. you'll slowly start going to sleep & getting sleepy earlier.

nap. i can't stress this enough. although you won't be getting the deep, REM sleep you get during a long period of time, it will reduce the tiredness. i'm sure youre a really busy girl who does lots of sports, but like even if you have an hour or half an hour to spare, just hit the bed. you'll feel grumpy & like a bitch when you wake up (like me =P) but just take a shower & it will help. it feels really good to clear out your mind on a wednesday afternoon.

go to a doctor to get sleep medicine. maybe you have a serious problem & need medication. a good sleeping medicine is lunesta. it doesnt make you fall asleep- it makes you relaxed & calms you down which, in turn, makes you go to sleep.

you might be really stressed out. make a list of everything thats bothering you and conquer them little by little. start a diary & release what you think is going on. you really dont know how good this is until you try it. - take yoga - this really releases stress & anger. it's also really good for you & makes you really lose weight too if that's an issue for you.

i hope i helped & good luck ♥
