"The aim of argument should not be victory but progress" i need to write about it, and not sure where to start?

Well, what I get out of it is that when you start an arguement your goal shouldn't be to win but to become better at proving your point/telling other people facts without going crazy(some arguements can get kind of brutal). You know how when you've won an arguement, you feel so good because you know you've just beaten the other person and you think they get your point of view? Intsead of that you should try to win it fairly so that your opponent actually understands what you were trying to get across to them. hope i helped and good luck!!
