Communitcations classes. Every college has diffrent programs and call them diffrent things (Journalism, mass communitcations, public speaking, public relations, brodcasting, radio and television) If you are in high school now I would recomend joining the newspaper staff.

Journalism, creative writing, and English courses. The "investigative" part comes after you have experience and luck.
