trouble breathing

Question Posted Monday April 2 2007, 7:05 pm

I have been having trouble breathing lately, but I don't know why..

It can't be asthma, I am sure. Yet every time I breathe in I feel like I am not getting enough oxygen in my lungs. I also yawn a lot so that also tells me my body isn't getting enough oxygen..

I do guess it could be from acid reflux that I have. My parents think I am going crazy so they won't do anything. What can I do?

You can tell your parents that you want to see a doctor, but if they think you are crazy tell them you have trouble breathing. If it happens to be during school, go to the nurse. Explain what has been happening lately. She will either:
a) Call your parents
b) Tell you to go back to class
c) Give you medication

You should go to the school nurse and taalk with her. Maybe have her write a note to your parents, and may be ably to tell you what could possibly be wrong with her.

I don't understand why your parents won't believe you. I guess when you like pass out, they'll realize you were telling the truth.

My advice: If it happens during school, see the nurse & see what she says to you.
