okay so me and one of my really good guy friends just started going out. everything's going great.. except our phone conversations. we never really have anything to talk about. can someone give me things that we can talk about (not like: how's the weather. more personal.) thanks.

First ask about his day, and anything else you might want to know, what you'll be doing for your next date... then be random :) Ask about his favourite foods, clothes, places to visit, anything you can think of... once you start talking about one thing you'll find as you get to know each other better the conversation will flow better. In time those 'awkward' silences may not even feel that way to you anymore :)

Like, what I am doing this summer or this weekend. Or even silly questions like, What kind of shampoo do you use? I mean, those kind of questions will keep yall busy talking without just silence. If you break the silence first then yall our most likely to go deeper in yalls conversations with more personal stuff.

If it doesnt, ask questions about each other, like what you like to do, and just about their life. That way, you will learn about you new boyfriend, and show him you care, and also you will have something to talk about.
hope i helped!
