Make sure they open everything in front of you & explaine everything to you. If their needles are laid out already, leave & go somewhere else. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
burningXstar answered Monday April 2 2007, 6:45 pm: I've never had my belly button pierced... But I saw two girls getting it done while I had my ears done lol. From what I heard and saw it didn't hurt at all because they had the skin "clamped" in a scary looking metal thing which pulled the skin taunt... (which wouldn't hurt so much as put a bit of pressure on the skin) then the guy sprayed the area with this stuff that makes the skin go numb (like when you have dental work done), then the needle is pushed through the skin. There were no screams! And one girl said it was less painful then having her ear done, and they were incredibly screamish before having it done.
Hope this helped somewhat! :) [ burningXstar's advice column | Ask burningXstar A Question ]
