okay well first off how old do you have to be to get it done with a parent or guardian with you ? if it helps i live in western mass.

Basically, if your parents give consent, and are present with you, they'll do it at any age. But for some states you need to be 16 or older. In New York, if you come without a parent a 16, you need ID, your birth certificate & your social security card. And you'd still need all that even if you had your parent. Also, if you don't have a legal ID [driver's liscense, permit] you can use your school ID.
I'd go to some of the shops where you live & ask what they do, and how much. Then compare prices, and see which one works best.
Also, if the you go to the place & they already have their needles laid out, go to another place. They're dirty & you could get some type of infection. Make sure they take everything out of the packages in front of you, and make sure they explain everything. Such as what they're gonna do, what they're using, how to clean it, and everything else. =) If they don't do that, you should leave immeadiately.

Most places say under 18 you have to have your parent gardian. They say you need to be over the age of 16, however, I got mine pierced at a reallllly laid back place when I was 13 (with my mother rpesent).
