ok so i really want to loose weight. im nto that fat. but im chubby. but i suck in my stomach.. so i look fat. people say thats good this way it builds up stomach muscle but i dont know. its jsut a habit now i automatically suck in but not when im sitting. only when im standing or walking. well im 14/f and i weigh 120 pounds and are about 5 foot 4 i guess. aroudn there. ok you guys wil lsyaim the perfect weight its good. but i have a st omach. and i want to loose it. so dont say you dont need to. well what do i have to do? i dont go running but im going to try? so probably since i have school i might go on saturdays or sundays. in the summer i will run more. or try too. but what foods should i eat or avoid? and what are some snacks that are good for you? that liek arnt only fruit? liek ome junk food that arent bad for you? liek is chex mix good or? and when i get bored. i eat. so what can i do? thanksss soo much. sorry this is long. my schedule is basically school then friends then home. i do a sport but thats not that much exercise its colorguard. and thats from august to like thanksgiving. so then im good at maintaing my weight. but now i cant. and ifeel soo fat around my friends becuase there so skinny. and i want to loose wieght. thanks.

Running and other cardio exercises are the key to losing fat off your lower abs. If you're going to run on a treadmill, I'd recommend running for at least 30 minutes each day. If you're going to run on a track or on the road, a good mile or two per day should be good.

Sucking in your stomach won't build up any muscle, only flexing will, but not that much.

Eat healthy, avoid things high in sugar and fast food but do not starve yourself. If you're going to run, make sure you get enough calories(I'd recommend 2,000, whoever told you not to eat above 1500 is an idiot). If you don't get enough calories with exercise, your whole body will feel like crap. Water is also important, avoid soda and coffee.

4 sets of 12 repetitions of leg lifts

well i am 5'1 and 118 pound and i have the same problem my stomach is shubby well what i do is do stomach work outs and watch what i eat....but you can't get to obsessed i did that once and that is how i lost 20 pound in 2 months and i lookd horrible. about your friends well you ahve to remeber everyone has different body shapes and builds and to you you may seem fat but it may be a whole different story to them.....i used to feel the same way tehn one day my friends all asked my how i stayed so skinnny and i thought it was really weird because like you i felt fat around them......jsut remeber what you feel may not always be true.

ok im 5'5 145 and thats avredge for my height i use to want to losse weight till one day my life almost ended it was crazy [an acadental overdose] and i started to relize life is too short to criticize yourself when you have people for that so just love yourself and the pounds will shed because i use to have an eating disorder because of critisism on myself and by others but after that experince i started to eat a meal a day and i lost 15 pounds because i started off 160 and 5'4 so thats all i got to say

Well, you are the perfect weight, but if you wanna lose weight this is what you gotta do...

1) Do at least 100 sit-ups a day

2) When you are bored and get hungry, try to eat crushed ice ( i know it sounds weird but it works it keeps you busy and satisfied)

3) Don't eat over 1,500 calories a day ( I know that it seems like a ton of calories, but it's not trust me)

4) DO NOT eat fast food, especially McDonalds and places like that even the salads are fattening

5) If you get the chance run up and down the stair its a great work out (just dont hurt yourself)

You are a healthy weight, but I understand why you want to lose weight in your stomach. First of all - you're only fourteen so understand that some of this weight is 'puppy fat' for lack of a better term and it will go away as you mature. Secondly, if you want to lose fat and gain muscle tone in your stomach area, the best way is to do crunches, and avoid sugary snacks, soft drinks and caffeine, which make you retain water and bloat. Try eating mixed nuts and things as a snack, almonds are a 'good fat' and fill you up. Also if you eat when you are bored try sugarless chewing gum, this could be something to keep your mouth occupied.

*** In response to your comment, it's great to drink lots of water, in fact the more water you drink the less water your body will retain, so don't worry about water bloating you. However I would lay off the gatorade as it does have unnecessary sugar and calories, so unless you're drinking it as a supplementary meal, I wouldn't use it to quench your thirst. Just stick to mineral water.***
