I'm more concerned on your self-esteem, than I am on you having a date for prom. Because the more optimistic I am and give you good things to do, the more you put down yourself and disbelieve. You have to fight that voice inside your head, and have confidence in yourself. Guys like girls with confidence as well, but you also shouldn't have it just for a guy. You come first, not the guy.

And you can always ask someone else to go to prom with you, that you know doesn't have a date. Or if you have a friend, like a girl, you could just go and have a good time with your friend. A lot of girls end up going to prom with their friends and having a good time, just like hanging out.
