Nintendo Wii should be in shops in a couple of months or so, going by what I was told at my local Game store (and what I was told at various other game/console exchange stores).

Ebay is a good place but some sellers on there will use the fact that they are nowhere on sale in the UK currently to inflate the prices well above the retail price so it may take some time to get yourself a good deal.

Eventually when Nintendo release them again (which will hopefully be soon) the rage and demand will die down and then the Wii will be like any other console.

Have you checked out auction sites such as Ebay? I find that the Wii is always up for auction on there by several sellers. That might be your ticket to getting one. Also check the classifieds of your local and daily paper as quite often people are selling brand new machines there like they are on Ebay.

You'll spend more but believe me as I have one that it's well worth the investment. We got ours from someone who was selling them in the classifieds of our daily paper.

The poster below is wrong about EB Games or Best Buy unless things have changed they will not allow people to reserve WII consules. It's all first come first serve. They usually only have 10-20 and there is lineups each morning in some areas (unless it died down) to see if they have any.

You need to keep checking the stores every day when they open and keep calling around to see if you can get one. You might luck out but I would use Ebay, the classifieds or online auction sites to get one.

How long will the cycle of having Wiis for 20 minutes at a store than having none left last? That's a question only Nintendo can answer at 1-800-255-3700 or nintendo.com

Sooner or later as more people end up buying them Nintendo will start flooding the market with WII consules as the hype and novelty will have worn off. Give or take this will occur in a few months if it hasn't just begun.

hey, go to like bestbuy or eb games and reserve one. what that means is to call them and first ask for a nintendo wii. if they say that they dont have any, request that one would be reserved for you. give them your information and have them contact you when one comes in.
