First, you can use iTunes or any music program to import the songs from a CD to your computer. Once they are on your computer, you can send it to them. I find that sending the file through AIM is easier, but if that option isn't available, then e-mail is your next step.

Look up a program called Pando. It's relatively new and seems to work pretty well. With a bit of patience, it becomes a very easy program to use. It allows (for free use) to send up to 1GB of information in a single e-mail, whether it be text or attachments. Here's the catch: for the person to open the attachment file, they will need to have Pando installed too. It's spyware and virus free, so I would really recommend you (and anyone else you wish to send large files to) to download and install it. Hope that helped.

Yeah, be careful of the copyright. If you're good with it, just rip the CD onto your computer and send the music file as an attachment. It may not work though because a lot of email programs have a maximum size of an email that can be sent. I think hotmail is 5MB, which is the average size of a song, so It might not work. Good luck

If the CD is a disk that is protected by copyright then the action of ripping the CD track to send to a friend would be considered illegal therefore an innapropriate question to ask here. Sorry.

If the CD is not copyright protected my apologies in advance.
